Welcome to the TJNL's Mini Album Mania Blog Hop!! The Mini Album Mania CD is the newest specialty CD from the TJNL. If you haven't come here from the beginning of the hop, please visit the Designer's Blog. I don't want you to miss out on any of the inspiration being shared today!!
If you've been following along on the hop, you've just seen the fabulous project Hetty shared! Isn't that Paper Latern cool???
The Mini Album Mania CD has 35 equally awesome projects on it. As with previous CD's, all of the step by step tutorials are full pictorial tutorials taking your through the process of making your own mini album. Each project is easily completed in a single afternoon. The mini albums are perfect for gift giving and make awesome classes also!
You can purchase your own copy of the CD, right here on my blog simply by adding it to your paypal cart right now :)
Here on my personal blog, I am sharing the Layer Cake Mini Album. (On the Designer's Blog, I shared the One Sheet Wonder Album). This is a fun dimesional album--perfect for a variety of celebration memories! It also makes a spectacular 3D card (it's bigger than your average card, though) for someone extra special!
My album features papers from Stampin' Up! The adorable birthday girl image is from I Brake For Stamps--she's one of "Sarah's Girls" and I find her irresistable! I've copic colored her to match the designer papers--such great colors!!
My color scheme is Pear Pizazz, Cherry Cobbler, Pink Pirouette and Basic Grey. I've used a piece of the Basic Grey tafetta ribbon as a closure for the album.
Inside:
My color scheme is fairly monochromatic with just a few pink accents. The candle on top of the album is from a long retired Stampin' Up! set called Big Birthday Candle. The flame is blinged up with some yellow stickles.
Stamped sentiments on the interior are from my two favorite stamps sets by Ali Edwards. I adore the sentiments and find them to be my absolute go to's when scrapbooking. (You can find them at the Technique Tuesday website: Favorite Memories and Loving Words).
I couldn't resist a close up share of the inside picture. That little baby is now 5 and off to kindergarten in the fall. I've been housing this picture for....well, five years, and just now the wee little thumb sucker struck me as unbelievably sweet!! Oh.....they grow too fast!!
Hug a thumb sucker and cuddle a babe if you can! You are off to another amazing piece of inspiration from our wonderful guest designer, Allie Gower!
Don't forget you have to leave love on everyone's blog in order to be considered as a winner!
Have fun! TTFN, Jane
Jane, this is a beauty! I think i am going to use this for my DD's babyshower. Thanks for the inspiration.

This is a very unique album. I can see it being used for any occasion where there is cake... I guess that's pretty much EVERY occasion. LOL

Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh! This is so adorable! My 12 yr old would love to get something like this for her 13th this summer!
How strange is it that as I go through this hop I'm imagining different people for each one?
This is awesome!
Hugs,
Karen C

Very creative idea! this would be cute to use as a centerpiece display for special events. Just went to an 80th birthday party that this would have been perfect for.
