Howdy, Crafty Friends!!! I'm so glad you've chosen to join me today!!! Today, I am joined by my fellow TJ Designers for a blog hop celebrating the newest TJ CD--Shimmer, Glimmer, Sparkle and Shine! Yes, there's goodies to be had so, be sure to read my whole post :)
If you haven't started at the beginning of the hop, you'll want to venture back to check out all of the lovely projects Judy Jackson has shared there.
If you've just been to Hetty's blog, then you've seen her awesome work and, you're in the right spot!!
It's always so hard for me--coming off of a CD--to pick just one tutorial to love. Today, I thought I'd share a few of my favorites while trying to show the versatility of the CD.
My first project, features the Glitter Strips tutorial. I was blessed with some awesome glitters from the wonderful people at Scor-Pal a few years ago. Although I hoard them like gold, this project, especially, was perfected by using these wonderful ultra fine sparkles!
All of the background images are from our wonderful vendor, Impression Obsession. The other images are from Amuse.
I adore my next project! It's so shimmery in real life--I wish you all could see it for realz!
The technique is called Heated Pearl Ex--an easy to accomplish technique with a big pay off!! I've owned Pearl Ex for a decade or more and can honestly say, this is the BEST way to use them, IMHO :)
The beautiful butterfly image is from Memory Box.
If anything says "DUDE" on this sparkly CD, it's the Textured Metal Background technique. If you are anything like me, boy cards always pose a bit of difficulty! This background is perfect for all kinds of masculine images. I've paired it, today, with a cute little robot image from Our Craft Lounge for a kidsy feel. I'm itching for some playtime, though, to dig out my Classic Convertibles set from SU!--it will be perfection!
For more information about the 40 different tutorials available on this CD, you can view the Pictorial Index or the General Information/Ordering Page.
To get your own copy of the CD, you can visit the drop down menu in the upper left corner of my blog and order one....two....or many of the fabby TJ CD's!
Speaking of CD's.......before I send you to the next stop, I need to let you know that we will be blessing one lucky hopper with their very own copy of the CD! In order to be considered a potential winner, comment on all of the designer's blogs! A winner will be announced on Pat Huntoon's blog next week....good luck!
Now, I wish you a fond farewell.....visit the talented Jackie Kalchert next and prepare to be amazed!
TTFN, Jane

Jane! Such cute cards! I, too, hoard my glitter. :D And I wish SU! still sold PearlEx; I can't afford to use anything we don't carry. I LOVED that stuff, and your heated PearlEx card is simply STUNNING.

Wow, they are all so GORGEOUS Jane. I love them all a lot. Like you, I hoarded my massive collection of Martha Stewart Glitter. I only cracked them open to do glitter strips, and boy did I fall in love with both the technique and the glitter. Why do we hoard?
