Now that the holidays are over, I have a few projects I needed to save. This is my favorite one!
I'm always looking for creative gift ideas--especially for my oldest son. He's 13 and has many of the "things" most youth want. I, however, WANT time with him. I always try to give a gift that appeals to him and creates a special time/activity for us.
I've recently fallen in love with sushi and my son is a fan also. So, I created this cute little box to invite him to sushi and a movie with me.
The box was inspired by a project from the 3D and Fun Folds CD called, Double T-Slide. If you are still wondering if you should get a copy.......YES!!! Go here for more information :)
The adorable image is a digi from Karber Stamps. I don't normally dig on the digi's, but can definitely see the usefulness of getting an image quickly and being able to manipulate the size for a project. Not a convert, but an informed sorta fan??? LOL!
So my pal wanted to know why I made felt sushi (when I showed it to her....) uhhhhh.......because I could!! LOL!!! She's not a crafter so, apparantly she doesnt get it!
Hee Hee....the whole thing makes me smile!
And, my boy booked a date with me.....what could be better than that?
