The Chicka came to stamp with me today after a LOOOOONGGGGGG hiatus. It sure was good to be together!!
We decided to tackle the Junkie's Try That Technique challenge---you really should too! I have to say it.....
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE how this turned out!!! Don't you just get excited when the image in your head meets up with real life??
If you haven't already checked out my here, I'll tell you that this technique is called Geometric Overstamping and was featured in the April 2005 newsletter.
The image and sentiment are both from Rubbernecker and make me chuckle every time! The olive is pure genius straight from the mind of the recently recharged Chicka--I think this is the element that totally makes this card work--it's so very Eric Carle! Love it! (If you can't see what I'm talking about, click on the image to enlarge it!)
Here is the Chicka's card--isn't it awesome? Such a clever girl!
