A quick post is all I have today. My little guy is NOT having a good day at all. He's still in pain and plenty irritable despite our best efforts to entertain him and keep him comfortable. He cried so hard when our oldest went for a bike ride because he wanted to go too. It will be a LONGGGGG couple of weeks here for sure!
Anyway, our copic colors for this week's challenge on the Artful Sentiments by Kimm blog are:
YG67, B23 and E47 ( I substituted E44)
In Stampin' Up! colors they would most closely resemble: Garden Green, Ballet Blue and Chocolate Chip or Close to Cocoa. (I used E44 which is closer to the Cocoa).
I started my project by doing an abbreviated form of the Scrappy Spots technique. This technique was featured in the June/July issue of the TJNL. Such a fun technique to combine with these adorable stamps from High Hopes.
I love the little pirate dude and his saying..."Thar be a birthday fast approaching." How cute is that?
